Since 2012, I have worked at Compass Community Health Centre as a Mentor for youth and a
Project Coordinator in the Pathways to Education program. In these roles, I’ve had the privilege
of shaping the lives of hundreds of students while also learning from them. I take great pride in
directly serving the community on the front lines and playing a role in shaping the next generation.
In addition to my work with the Pathways to Education program, I founded the Environmental
Committee to address the growing environmental impact of the health centre. Since its
inception, I have served as the chair of the committee and worked with an interdisciplinary team
dedicated to reducing our environmental footprint.
In 2018, I began working an additional job as a part-time professor at Mohawk College teaching
Sociology and Environmental Sustainability and have been doing so regularly since. I’m a proud
member of Local 240.
In my free time, you will find me riding my bicycle or walking through the community. I also love
to play board games, attend live music concerts, and go to the theatre.
My proudest personal achievement in life is cycling across Canada and raising over $26,000 for
the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
